I was stationed at redcliff from Jun 1955 to July 1958 I married a Newfoundlander, I have just recently in June 2005 returned from serving a L.D.S. Church Misssion in Grand Falls NFLD and visited St. Johns several times, even tried to drive to Red Cliff but could not, If I had known I could have walked up I would have done that. Newfoundland is a Unique and beautiful place I love the people and the wonderful atmosphere. Also really like the work that is being on this web site I love looking at the pictures they bring back so many wonderful memories.

You've got a great thing going with this site. Nice job. May I corect you in saying : Reference picture #15 (1956) is not in Logy Bay it should be Marine Drive in Middle Cove as you are approaching Kelly's Hill.

I am originally from Outer Cove - attended the little Red School House in the 1950's - my sister in England gave me your website address. Your stories and pictures bring back a lot of memories of the most beautiful place in the world -Outer Cove, of course. Love the pictures and the stories. Keep up the great work!

I was told about this site by a friend and after looking at it I would have to say that it is extremely well done. On the cover picture of Ms. Press class is my son Chris who is now an engineer in Boston. Both of my sons Chris and Mark are now working in the USA and think the site is very interesting. Keep up the good work. Vic and Linda Doody

I am researching some land that my belongs to my Grandfather and I am interested in vistiting and researching my family ties and property.
If you could help direct me to the appropriate people that could help me with further research and to identifying the status of my Great Grandfathers Land.
His name is Michael Doran and the land is located on Logy Bay RD and Outer Cove
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
